Job Description

Position Summary:

Evaluates patients of all ages and establishes age specific treatment programs, provides direct patient care, documents daily treatments and evaluations and assists with department activities. Supervises support personnel including COTA, students and volunteers. Provides consultation, maintains work areas, attends and participates in continuing education and represents tech department in the hospital and community.

Required Licenses/Certifications:

  • Current Florida Occupational Therapy license
  • Current BLS within 90 days of first day of employment

Communication Skills:

Ability to effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) in English, ability to write legibly (clinical areas)

Must clear background and drug test required.
