Qualifications

Certification and/or Registration: Registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Licensed by the California Board of Occupational Therapy (CBOT)
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a pediatric therapy setting

Key Responsibilities & Performance Expectations

Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, document findings, and manage discharge planning
Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough treatment documentation and goal tracking for each child
Develop and implement home programs as needed, incorporating perceptual, motor, and sensory-based strategies
Provide guidance, training, and support to interns and volunteers within the occupational therapy program
Participate in staff meetings and in-service trainings, with opportunities to lead or present training sessions

Physical Demands

Moderate physical activity, including lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 25 lbs
Regular standing and walking throughout the workday
Occasional lifting of supplies or equipment
Periodic reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, and fine motor tasks requiring manual dexterity and mobility
