Description
Uintah Basin Medical Center (UBMC)is hiring a full-time salaried Occupational Therapist. The ideal candidate will be comfortable treating patients in outpatient and inpatient settings and skilled in treating various ages and diagnoses.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform Occupational Therapy Assessments and implement an appropriate plan of care
- Employ treatment interventions that are consistent with evidence-based practice guidelines
- Coordinate treatment interventions with other therapeutic professionals
- Work closely and develop a rapport with the UBH medical staff
- Maintain a high level of productivity
- Document and bill according to recognized and accepted practice guidelines
Minimum Requirements
- Occupational Therapy degree and state of Utah licensure.
- Current BCLS and CPR certifications.
- Must be able to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills required.
- In addition, the qualified candidate must be able to work well in a team environment.
