Medical, dental & vision healthcare insurance options with generous employer contributions towards individual and dependent monthly premiumsFlexible work schedule12-week mentorship programs available new grads welcome!PRN is also availablePosition Summary The OT - Occupational Therapist provides direct rehab care in occupational therapy to patients upon physician referral in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (BSOT or MSOT)Specific Job Requirements Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriateProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e mailKnowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facilityImplement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the departmentPerform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: patient rights, and safety and sanitationMaintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential informationUnderstand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance proceduresDisplays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct and completes mandatory Code of Conduct and other appropriate compliance trainingOversee and evaluate care given by OTAs, Rehab Aides, and studentsUtilize therapy software appropriately and accuratelyExhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patientsRead, write, speak, and understand the English language
