Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our inpatient rehabilitation team for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of inpatient experience and be committed to delivering high-quality patient care under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Responsibilities
Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Assist patients in improving functional abilities and achieving rehabilitation goals.
Monitor patient progress and report findings to the Occupational Therapist.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies.
Educate patients and families on therapeutic activities and adaptive techniques.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and compliance standards.
Requirements
Active California Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) certification/license.
Minimum of 2 years of inpatient occupational therapy experience.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Strong communication, organizational, and patient-care skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced inpatient setting.
