• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure (KSBHA required).
• NBCOT certification preferred.
• BLS certification within first 90 days of employment.
• Experience in acute care hospital settings, handling patients with complex diagnoses.
• Proficiency in patient transfers involving lines and drains.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team in high-pressure situations.
• Adaptability to fast-paced workflows with minimal supervision.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Epic electronic medical record system experience.
• Previous exposure to ICU, neuro, ortho, cardiac, respiratory, trauma, surgical, or joint replacement patients.
• Experience collaborating with physical therapists and other clinical staff.
• Familiarity with handling acutely ill patients and managing multiple patient evaluations efficiently.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Prior experience in hospital-based or acute care environments.
• NBCOT certification.

Other Requirements:

• Availability for 8-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Ability to assist with late joint procedures on a rotating basis; no call or weekend work required.
• Must be comfortable in high-acuity settings with complex patient needs.
• Expected patient load: 7–8 patients per shift.
• No first-time travelers; previous acute care experience preferred.

Compensation:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $63.65
