Job Details / Responsibilities:

Provide occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plansDeliver skilled OT treatment and monitor patient response toward functional, discharge-ready goalsAssist the Director of Therapy Operations with daily OT team operations, including scheduling, orientation, training, and communication with therapy staff and hospital departmentsSupervise occupational therapists, COTAs, and techniciansSupport staff development, competency, and performance managementCoordinate team tasks, documentation, training, and schedules to meet quality, productivity, and operational goalsDrive continuous quality improvement across the OT serviceCollaborate with the interdisciplinary rehab team to support patient outcomes and a consistent plan of careBuild therapeutic relationships by understanding each patient’s physical, cognitive, and emotional needsCelebrate functional gains and coach the team around best-practice rehab OT

Qualifications:

Current Idaho Occupational Therapist license (or license as required by state regulations)Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited occupational therapy programMinimum three years of discipline-specific occupational therapy experience (minimum two years clinical)BLS/CPR required or obtained within 30 days of hireLeadership experience preferredActive on Therapy Clinical Ladder (when eligible) or specialty professional certification preferredStrong documentation, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
