Pay rate: $20/hr

Title: -Odour / Salon AssessorContract - 12 months Location: Trumbull, CT

JOB DESCRIPTIONScheduling for stylist positions can be complicated. We run studies from Tuesday to Thursday, but occasionally, we may cancel a study or not need staff. While this setup is similar to per diem, we usually know at least two weeks in advance if we don't have a study. Currently, Ruth works Monday through Wednesday, Elain Evans will work Monday through Wednesday, and Maria works on Tuesday only. This leaves us short on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Ideally, stylists should be available from Monday to Thursday, which typically amounts to 25-28 hours per week. If they can only work three days, those days need to be Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

HAIRSTYLIST/TECHNICIAN

Salon Studies is conducted by licensed stylists;They apply products to panelists hair-either shampoo, conditioner or hair styling aids. During a salon study the stylist will instruct panelists and record their answers.

•Must be a team player.

•Currently licensed Hair Stylist by the State of Connecticut.

•Read and understand protocol.

•Asks questions and records study answers.

•Practices Sanitation procedures.

•Conduct test according to protocol for study.

•Make sure codes match ballot.

•Review instruction with panelist and ensures panelists are following test instructions.

•Familiar with tablet.

•Able to maintain panelist flow if other stylists are busy with other areas of their jobs. ( not limited to one panelist per time slot)

Position is 3 days a week in the Trumbull Hair Test Center.For this role, stylists will be working with the public
