About the Opportunity
Position will provide complex and independent administrative support for the RNI IC Administration.

What You'll Do
- Oversees daily operations of assigned area, coordinates activities that support RNI. Coordinate project schedules, resources, equipment and information between the project team, administration and vendors, consultants, etc. Oversee and monitor progress of RNI team members and provide support for various initiatives. Develops comprehensive reports on projects. Keeps updated records and creates reports or proposals as they pertain to ongoing initiatives at RNI IC.
- Implements policies and practices associated with awards and initiatives. Develops and/or recommends new or revised program goals or and objectives as required by supervisor. Tracks expenditures and transactions. Process contracts and sub-contracts for vendors/collaborators
- Develops workflow for assigned area and makes recommendations for improvements.
- Maintain extremely complex executive calendars. Arrange travel when necessary. Process reimbursements for AVP/VP/Director.
- Assists with coordination of special events, conferences, meetings, guest lectures, dinners, etc. for RNI IC. This may include coordination of travel, ordering food and beverages, greeting guests and presenters, and other tasks to support the RNI. Facilitate workshops, trainings, meetings and conferences including coordinating logistics, scheduling and communications.
- Reviews or edits reports on projects or initiatives.
- May supervise students assigned to area.
Pay Grade: 18
- Bachelor's degree in business or field directly related to the area of assignment.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in an administrative office setting.
- Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
- All qualifications must be met by the time of employment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to learn and to apply effectively the policies, procedures and guidelines affecting the position and work unit to which assigned, as well as the institution.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently.
- Thorough knowledge of office methods, procedures and protocol, along with thorough knowledge of correct English, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure.
- Proven skill in interacting with the public.
- Good knowledge of, or the ability to rapidly learn, the policies, procedures and regulations governing budget issues, with the ability to interpret and apply these policies to unique situations.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of fiscal record keeping.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with customers either in person or over the telephone.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships among all levels of employees within the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to apply solid judgment, discretion and initiative in performing a variety of complex administrative tasks.
