Overview
Job Description
- Respond promptly and professionally to incoming phone calls and emails from vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Assist in revising and managing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, and timely processing.
- Follow up on backorders, claims, and contracts to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address any merchandising-related issues and provide necessary support.
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to update product information, pricing, and promotions on various platforms.
- Perform general administrative tasks to support the merchandising department's day-to-day operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- An Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin is preferred.
- Familiarity with Seafood products, cultural preferences, and market trends is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong attention to detail skills with a keen eye for visual presentation and product placement.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced retail environment and work well under pressure.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
