Location: Sacramento, CA (On-Site)Schedule: Full-Time | 8-Hour Shifts | Weekends as NeededPay Rate: $22–$25/hourEmployment Type: Hourly

Overview

Rooter Hero Plumbing & Air is seeking a highly organized and motivated Office Coordinator to support daily operations and ensure a smooth, efficient office environment.

In this role, you will be a key part of a fast-paced, goal-driven team, handling payroll, onboarding, purchase orders, and administrative support. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys both independent work and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Process new hires and complete onboarding documentation
  • Order uniforms for new and current employees
  • Oversee timesheets and payroll adjustments
  • Process purchase orders and manage payables
  • Complete termination paperwork
  • Prepare and process weekly fleet reports
  • Respond to internal and external requests, resolving issues efficiently
  • Maintain professional communication and build strong relationships
  • Support office operations with multitasking and problem-solving
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of office administration experience
  • Must live within 30 miles of Sacramento, CA
  • Proven track record in customer service
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent follow-through
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic HR or office management knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Typing speed of at least 35 WPM with high accuracy
  • Ability to handle conflict, build trust, and enforce policies

Nice to Have

  • Experience with payroll processing
  • Leadership or team support experience
  • Familiarity with California labor laws
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
