Complex is seeking a proactive, highly organized, and resourceful Office Manager to oversee daily operations at our New York office. This role is essential in maintaining a productive and welcoming workplace environment, supporting both staff and leadership with administrative functions, and ensuring operational efficiency across departments.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for facility-related issues
  • Oversee day-to-day office functions to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the office communal and kitchen areas
  • Manage key cards and office access for all employees and visitors
  • Coordinate weekly company lunches, ensuring variety and accommodating dietary needs
  • Shipping and receiving of packages, ensuring timely distribution and tracking
  • Schedule and plan internal events, team gatherings, and company celebrations
  • Assist with onboarding new hires, including desk setup and office orientation
  • Serve as the point of contact for building management and office vendors
  • Oversee maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of office-related issues
  • Support HR and internal teams with administrative tasks and special projects as needed
  • Provide in-office support to the New York location 5 days a week

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of experience as an office manager/coordinator in a corporate office setting
  • You're a people person who enjoys being the go-to for office support
  • Proficiency in tools like Google Workspace and Slack
  • You're detail-oriented, catching the little things others might miss
  • You can switch gears quickly and adapt to shifting priorities
  • You have a "no task too small" mentality and a can-do attitude
  • You enjoy creating a positive office vibe and fostering a collaborative culture
  • You're comfortable liaising with vendors, delivery services, and building management
