POSITION TITLE: Office Manager
REPORTING TO: General Manager
LOCATION: Lake Coeur d'Alene Cruises

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Administrative & Office Support
- Maintain organized statistical, financial, and operational reports.
- Assist with maintaining and stocking products and supplies.
- Support inventory tracking through accurate records and controls.
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls.
- Write and submit advertisements to appropriate publications.
- Convey a calm, organized, and professional demeanor, even in high-volume situations.
- Provide courteous, efficient service to guests and vendors.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Help with ticket booth if needed.
- Participate in community events.
- Manage team administration tasks as needed.
HR & Employee Support
- Maintain and distribute employee policy, handbooks, and benefit manuals.
- Keep team member files organized and up to date.
- Build new employee personnel files and ensure compliance with record-keeping standards.
- Serve as a point person for new employee questions.
- Help coordinate team events.
- Create and distribute documents related to employee education, development, and retention.
- Support team members with a safe outlet for workplace concerns or conflicts.
- Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
- Maintain historical HR records through effective filing systems and retrieval Processes.
Recruitment & Hiring
- Manage the LCC Breezy account for recruitment
- Greet prospective applicants, distribute applications, and conduct prescreening.
- Schedule interviews for qualified candidates and support interview logistics.
- Participate in job fairs and recruitment initiatives.
- Verify past and current employment via phone and written communication.
- Process new-hire paperwork, background checks, orientation materials, and facility tours.
- Facilitate the Stay Interview program through check-in calls and in-person stay interviews.
- Ensure all training requirements are met for each employee and filed appropriately in their personnel file
Scheduling, Payroll & Compliance
- Assist with staff scheduling across departments.
- Process and edit time entries for payroll.
- Support payroll reporting and spreadsheet preparation.
- Assist with general payroll operations as needed.
- Oversee the Safety Committee, including OSHA compliance, safety training, and safety meetings.
- Ensure managers are equipped to coach, discipline, and conduct performance discussions by supporting planning, monitoring, and appraisal processes.
- Prepare, update, and recommend HR policies and procedures.

Job Requirements
- Able to work at least 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Able to walk and stand on your feet 8 to 10 hours at a time
- Able to walk on tile, carpets, and up and down stairs
Compensation and Benefits
- $60,000 Yearly
