We are looking for someone who is willing to work Part Time 10-15 hours per week as an Office/Closing Manager with up to a total of 40 hours per week when adding as a Substitute Teacher and/or Mentor during other hours as well.
Office/Closing Manager Role
  • Represent The Goddard School Leadership Team professionally, consistently, and positively while greeting and supporting families of enrolled students. 
  • Organize and manage office files, student files, family files, deadlines, documents, etc.
  • Oversee and manage school snacks including planning healthy and diverse menu, staying within budget, including ordering and inventory.
  • Event Planning: Egg Hunt, Teacher Appreciation Week, Picture Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Pre-K Graduation, Holiday Program, Fall Festival, Scholastic Book Fairs, and more!
  • Plan all Summer Activities and manage Summer Activities Budget: Magic Rob, Soccer Shots, Splash Day, Bike Day, Butterfly Pavilion, and more!
  • Manage inventory of office and school supplies, and order weekly. Develop and maintain monthly budgets for classroom and school supply orders.
  • Marketing/Advertising – Report to Owner for implementing local advertising including weekly posting to Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, potential expansion to Tik Tok)
  • Oversee Child Transitions including planning with teachers, communications to parents, and logistics in Goddard’s student management system. 
Required Skills or Attributes
  • We are looking for someone who is a leader in the field of Early Childhood Education and feels comfortable coaching and mentoring Early Childhood Teachers
  • Willing to work 15 regularly-scheduled hours per week in the Office Manager Role from 3-6pm M-F, and if desired teaching hours from 9-3 with a 1 hour lunch break.
  • Willing to trade or cover shifts with Directors as needed to ensure Leadership Team is able to take vacations
  • Strong ability to work autonomously and efficiently
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities while remaining calm and professional
  • Consistently positive attitude, demonstrates professionalism and collaboration with colleagues, and communicates effectively with families 
  • Adopts and honors our Goddard School's Mission, Vision and Values as indicated below
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. 
Required Qualifications
  • Must have previous Childcare Teacher experience (preferably at least 3+ years) and willing to work in the classroom as a teacher as well.
  • Must already have Level II or higher in Colorado Shines and willing to obtain at least a Level III (or official Director Qualification) within 90 days of employment (if you are from out of state or are unsure of your qualifications, please reach out and we will help you sort this). 
  • Meets background check eligibility (FBI, CBI, Child Abuse & Neglect)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Official Directors Certificate
  • Experience in Marketing/Advertising, especially posting professionally to Social Media
  • Event planning experience
  • Experience Teaching various age groups (i.e. Infants, Toddlers, Preschool, Pre-K)

Compensation: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
