Position OverviewAt CP Engineers, we value employees who embody our core values of teamwork, recognition, and integrity. As an Office Operations Administrator in our State College, PA office, you will play a key role in maintaining efficient day-to-day operations while supporting local leadership and staff. You’ll help ensure the office runs smoothly, remains organized, and provides a professional and welcoming environment.

This position blends office management, administrative support, and coordination with corporate operations. You will work closely with the Pennsylvania Group Manager while also collaborating with our NJ Office Manager to support company initiatives and maintain consistency across offices. This role offers the opportunity to grow alongside a developing office and take on increasing responsibility over time.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure an organized, efficient, and professional work environment
  • Manage front office responsibilities including greeting visitors, answering phones, and directing inquiries
  • Coordinate calendars, meetings, and scheduling for office leadership
  • Assist with travel arrangements as needed
  • Order and maintain office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, shipping, and package distribution
  • Prepare, format, and edit documents, reports, and correspondence
  • Provide administrative support to project teams, including assistance with proposals and submission packages
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems
  • Support onboarding logistics for new employees, including workspace setup and coordination
  • Coordinate office events, meetings, and team activities
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining company policies, procedures, and corporate initiatives
  • Collaborate with Corporate Operations Team to ensure consistency across offices
  • Identify and communicate process improvements to enhance office efficiency
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information

Compensation: $25-$28/hour

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or a combination of relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of administrative, office management, or related experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Experience in a professional services or engineering environment preferred
