Job Description

We are seeking a Lube Service Technician to join our team. Along with the typical oil changes, our team will perform brake, tire, alignments, shock/strut, battery and overall fluids, filters and belt replacement services.

Requirements

  • Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with our high standards.

  • Perform regular scheduled maintenance on most makes and models.

  • Suggest additional, necessary and preventive maintenance automotive repairs.

  • Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs to service advisors.

  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal and informal training sessions stay abreast of rapidly changing technology.

  • Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made.

  • Basic maintenance including but not limited to: Tire rotations, Tire replacement, Brake Inspection, Fluid top off, Lubrication services, Batteries, Bulbs, etc.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of automotive experience would be preferred, but showing aptitude and owning some tools is workable.

  • Be a team player and communicate/problem solve to achieve department goals

  • Automotive diagnostics and general familiarity with vehicle operating systems desirable

  • Must have a driver's license and a commercially insurable Motor Vehicle Report

  • Ability to lift 50lbs
