Job Description

Job Title: Oil & Gas Title AttorneyLocation: San Antonio, TX / Houston, TX

I am currently working directly with a highly respected, nationally recognized law firm in the energy sector that is seeking to add an Oil & Gas Title Attorney to either the San Antonio or Houston office.

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Oil & Gas Title Attorney who wants to handle sophisticated, high-stakes energy matters while working alongside a well-established and reputable team. The firm is open to attorneys at the Of Counsel or Partner level and is also open to relocation for the right candidate.

The compensation structure for this role is market-competitive and commensurate with experience, with generous performance-based bonuses.

What We Need

  • 5+ years of experience as an Oil & Gas Attorney with a focus on litigation and dispute resolution

  • First-chair trial experience, including jury trials, bench trials, and arbitrations

  • Background handling complex oil & gas matters (royalty disputes, lease issues, JOAs, upstream/midstream contracts)

  • Direct, hands-on experience handling oil & gas matters in the Permian Basin

  • Ability to independently manage cases from intake through trial or resolution

  • Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skill set

  • Active Texas Bar license (or ability to obtain quickly)
