Job Description

Oil & Gas Title Attorney  Location: San Antonio, TX

A well-established, energy-focused law firm with deep roots in Texas oil and gas law is seeking an Oil & Gas Title Attorney to join its San Antonio office. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with highly respected shareholders on complex title matters for top-tier energy clients.

You’ll handle sophisticated oil and gas title work in a collaborative and detail-driven environment. The firm values attorneys who are technically precise, self-motivated, and capable of independently preparing high-quality opinions.

The compensation structure for this Oil & Gas Attorney role is market-competitive and commensurate with experience, with generous performance-based bonuses.

What We Need:

  • Draft original, supplemental, and division order title opinions
  • Conduct detailed title examinations in Texas and other producing states
  • Advise clients on mineral ownership, leasehold rights, and curative matters
  • Collaborate with attorneys, landmen, and clients on complex title issues
  • Stay current with Texas oil and gas law development
  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar
  • Strong understanding of Texas title and mineral law
  • Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Experience with drilling and division order opinions preferred
