Title: Oil & Gas Attorney

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Oil & Gas Attorney to join our legal team in the Dallas area with pay starting at 130K. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in energy law with a focus on oil and gas industry regulations and contracts. As an Oil & Gas Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal counsel and support to our clients in the oil and gas sector.

Responsibilities:

Review and draft legal documents related to oil and gas exploration, production, and distribution.
Provide expert legal advice on regulatory matters affecting the oil and gas industry.
Negotiate and draft contracts, agreements, and leases pertaining to oil and gas assets.
Represent clients in legal proceedings and negotiations with government agencies and stakeholders.
Stay informed about industry trends, changes in laws, and regulations impacting the oil and gas sector.

Requirements:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the state bar and in good standing to practice law.
Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing energy law with a focus on oil and gas.
Excellent knowledge of federal and state regulations governing the oil and gas industry.
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
