Job Summary
Howard Gasoline & Oil Co Inc is hiring a Reliable Oil Delivery Driver to deliver Heating Oil and Kerosene to residential and commercial customers. This is a local CDL driving job with steady hours, home-daily routes, and a strong focus on safety and customer service.We are a small family-owned company who have been in business for 103 years. We are willing to train someone who has a CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements. Once trained you will have your own local route which your delivery area will stay the same. Which will lead to you creating a relationship with the customer, which overall helps with customer service.Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class B Oil Peddle Truck
- Deliver Home Heating Oil to residential and commercial accounts
- Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules
- Complete Pre-trip and Post-trip Inspections
- Comply with DOT regulations, safety policies, and company procedures
- Provide professional, friendly Customer Service
- Accurately complete delivery tickets, logs, and paperwork
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (CDL, Hazmat & Tanker Required)
- Clean Driving Record
- Previous experience as a Fuel Oil Delivery Driver
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Comfortable working outdoors and driving in all weather conditions
- Strong commitment to Safety and Reliability
- Must be 21 Years of Age.
