Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an Omnichannel Replenishment Planner to drive inventory planning, demand forecasting, and replenishment strategy across a multi-channel retail business (eCommerce, stores, and B2B). This role blends data-driven analysis with strong business judgment to improve in-stock performance, inventory productivity, and sales outcomes.
You will partner closely with Buyers, Merchandising, and Supply Chain teams to make informed decisions on inventory investment, SKU productivity, and Open-to-Buy (OTB). This is a high-impact role for someone who can translate data into action, identify risks early, and influence category-level decisions.WHAT YOU’LL DO
Inventory Planning & Replenishment
- Own replenishment planning and inventory allocation across channels to meet demand and optimize in-stock rates
- Develop demand forecasts and replenishment strategies using historical data, trends, and business inputs
- Manage inventory health, balancing service levels, excess stock, and stockouts
Open-to-Buy (OTB) & Financial Planning
- Manage and optimize Open-to-Buy (OTB) to support sales, margin, and inventory goals
- Recommend where to invest, reduce, or reallocate inventory based on performance and trends
- Support financial planning and merchandise planning decisions with actionable insights
Assortment & SKU Productivity
- Analyze SKU-level performance to improve assortment productivity
- Partner with Merchandising to optimize assortment depth vs. breadth
- Identify underperforming products and recommend changes to improve sell-through
Market & Pre-Season Planning
- Lead hindsight analysis and pre-season planning to inform future buys
- Develop receipt plans and inventory flow strategies aligned with demand forecasts
- Support category strategy with data-backed recommendations
Performance Analysis & Insights
- Monitor sales, inventory trends, lifecycle stages, and demand signals
- Identify risks and opportunities across DTC (direct-to-consumer), retail stores, and B2B channels
- Deliver weekly, monthly, and seasonal reporting with clear recommendations
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Buyers, Merchants, Allocation, Inventory Management, and Supply Chain teams
- Align inventory strategies with business demand, promotions, and large account needs
- Communicate tradeoffs and influence decisions across teams
Tools, Systems & Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, modeling, forecasting)
- Experience with inventory planning systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle Retail, NetSuite, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, or similar)
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
- Retail math (sell-through, weeks of supply, GMROI)
- Demand planning & forecasting
- Inventory management & replenishment systems
- Omnichannel retail operations (eCommerce, stores, wholesale/B2B)
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Proven ability to turn analysis into actionable business decisions
- Experience partnering with Buyers or Merchants to influence category performance
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- 3+ years of experience in: Inventory Planning/Replenishment Planning/Demand Planning/ Forecasting/Merchandise Planning or Retail Analytics
- Experience in apparel, footwear, or retail merchandising
- Background in omnichannel retail or multi-channel inventory environments
- Exposure to B2B / wholesale demand planning and large account management
- Experience with assortment planning, allocation, or receipt planning
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Merchandising, Economics, or related field
WHERE YOU’LL WORK
HYBRID – The Best of Both Worlds
Have the flexibility to work on-site/in the business and remotely during the week. You’ll spend a few days a week in our office for collaboration/in-person engagement and have the flexibility to work from home on other days. While on-site, join other team members in the spacious Quad for lunch or enjoy our ongoing wellness activities. Employees are expected to be online and available during their team's core business hours. A company computer is provided for business use.
