Experience: Oncology experience required, Epic experience preferred

What Youll Do:

Provide high-quality nursing care to oncology patients, including hematology, medical oncology, bone marrow transplant, gynecologic, and surgical oncology cases
Perform bedside procedures such as CVC placements and bone marrow biopsies
Administer medications using barcode medication administration systems
Monitor patient status with equipment like IV pumps, feeding pumps, and SCD machines
Document patient care accurately within electronic health records (Epic)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and comfort
Assist with patient education and support throughout treatment

What You Need:

Valid RN license in Louisiana (or eligible to obtain)
BLS and ACLS certifications
At least 2 years of oncology nursing experience
Proficiency in Epic electronic medical records system
Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
Ability to work night shifts and adapt to emergency team procedures

About the Assignment: Join a dedicated team in a 7-bed positive pressure unit specializing in hematology and oncology. The unit is equipped for bedside CVC placements, bone marrow biopsies, and integrated with advanced hospital technology. First-time travelers are welcome, with a focus on patient-centered oncology care.
