Insurance Services Representative I is responsible for collection and resolution of outstanding insurance receivables including but not limited to unpaid, denied and underpaid claims. Insurance service representatives must communicate effectively, while accurately and efficiently handling high claim volume. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values and Mercy Service Standards.Position Details:
Minimum Required QualificationsEducation: HS Degree or Equivalent
Other Skills and Knowledge:Computer and keyboarding skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience: Prior EPIC Resolute Hospital Billing or Ambulatory experiencePrior Revenue CycleHealthcare billing or insuranceOther Skills and Knowledge:Basic Microsoft Excel and Word knowledgeCommunication and customer service skills
