Join Our Team as an Operating Room Registered NurseAre you a dedicated OR nurse seeking an exciting opportunity to make a difference in patient care? We are looking for a highly skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this pivotal role, you will be part of a force that ensures safe, efficient, and compassionate surgical care, contributing directly to improving patient outcomes and experience.Required Skills:

Minimum of 3 years of circulating experience in a hospital setting
Proven charge nurse experience in large facilities
Proficiency in Epic electronic health record system
Extensive knowledge of general, colorectal, gynecological, orthopedic, neuro, ENT, and other surgical specialties
Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience working in hurricane-impacted areas or emergency response teams
Previous travel nursing experience
Additional certifications such as CNOR or BLS/ACLS

Preferred Education and Experience:

Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with a valid state license
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred
At least 3 years of perioperative nursing experience, particularly in large hospital environments
Demonstrated leadership skills or charge nurse experience

Other Requirements:

On-call availability, especially during hurricane season (June 1 - November 30) with potential assignment to emergency response teams
Willingness to report as assigned during storm events
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing situations and work extended hours during emergencies
Valid nursing license and certifications up to date
