Job Description
Position OverviewPLP Company is seeking a dependable and hands-on Operations & Facilities Support Specialist to help maintain efficient daily operations across our properties, warehouse, and field teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of physical work, organization, and team support in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesField & Fleet Support
- Receive and unload incoming shipments; verify quantities and materials
- Coordinate delivery and pickup of equipment, materials, and documents
- Support fleet and shop operations, including parts and supply transport
- Assist field teams with signage placement, material delivery, and job support
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of company vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance of company properties, including mowing, trimming, and general landscaping
- Assist with seasonal duties such as snow removal
- Monitor and refill propane tanks and nitrogen bottles
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces, including daily trash removal
- Restock facility supplies such as paper products and shop consumables
- Organize and manage pallets, materials, and storage areas
- Maintain cleanliness of yard spaces, dumpster areas, and storage facilities
- Assist with removal of scrap materials and waste products
- Support incoming and outgoing shipments and freight coordination
- Perform basic inventory tracking and organization
- Replace facility items such as light bulbs and HVAC filters as needed
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal teams and vendors
- Basic understanding of inventory and warehouse processes
- Ability to work independently and stay organized in a dynamic environment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Forklift certification
- CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in warehouse, outdoor, and active environments
- Ability to reach, bend, and move materials as needed
- Over 60 years of local industry experience
