Job Description

Hanes Geo Components (HGC) in St. Albans, WV, a division of Leggett & Platt Inc., is seeking an Operations Manager. HGC is the leading distributor of geosynthetics, erosion control, and soil stabilization products used in the construction industry.

Responsibilities/Duties:

Manage shipping and production employees
Establish a shipping, receiving, and production schedule daily
Establish inbound/outbound logistics daily
Coordinate with Corporate purchasing team for material plannings
Direct supervision of employees
Additional duties may be required

Qualifications:

Proven successful warehouse and production management or supervisory experience
Adequate computer skills for ticket printing, inventory tracking, shipping reporting, and employee time reporting
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite- or comparable systems
Math skills for production calculations
Excellent communication skills

Qualifications:

The qualified candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in supervision and provide exceptional leadership. Basic forklift knowledge is a plus.

An associate or bachelor's degree in a business-related field or operations management is preferred
