Operations Manager- Roofing / General Construction- Fresno / Clovis (Full-Time, In Person)
Base + performance bonus | Direct line to the owner | This is the number two seat in the company
Read this first - the hard requirement
You must have hands-on roofing or general construction experience. Roofing, GC, carpentry, framing, remodel, exteriors, restoration - work where you have been on roofs and job sites, not just in an office. Former owners of a roofing, GC, or trade business are exactly who we are looking for.
If your background is solar sales, warehouse management, transportation or logistics, retail, or general corporate project management with no construction under it, this is not your seat and we will not move you forward. Nothing personal - the job requires trade knowledge we cannot teach.
The honest version
Our sales side is outrunning our operations side. We need one person who owns the middle of the business - from the day a job is sold to the day it is closed, collected, and the customer is bragging about us.
This is not a clipboard job and it is not a corporate PM job. You will run crews, materials, schedules, money, and problems. When something goes sideways at 7am, you are the person who fixes it.

Infinite Roofing Solutions - residential and commercial roofing across Fresno, Clovis, and the Central Valley. California's only 5-Star Certified Roof Maxx dealer. Small, fast, growing, and allergic to bureaucracy.
What you'll own
- Production schedule: crews, subs, and materials lined up so jobs start and finish on time
- Estimating and scoping repairs accurately - protecting margin on every job
- Supply house and subcontractor relationships, pricing, and accountability
- Quality control and job photos through CompanyCam - we document everything
- Customer service and communication when it matters, including the hard calls
- Back jobs and warranty work - closing the loop instead of letting it linger
- Building the SOPs and process so the next twenty jobs run the same as the last twenty
What we need to see
- Roofing or general construction experience - you can walk a roof, call the scope, and know when a crew is cutting corners
- You can scope and price a repair and be right about it
- Owned or run a construction business, or ran production for one, is the strongest fit
- Process discipline - you build systems and checklists, not just put out fires
- Real customer service instinct - homeowners trust you and stay calm because you called them first
- Comfortable with basic technology- CRM, Slack, CompanyCam, spreadsheets, smartphone. No coding required
- You have hired, trained, or fired people and can still sleep at night
- Local: Fresno / Clovis or willing to be here daily. This seat cannot be run from a laptop in another state
- Bilingual English / Spanish is a strong plus
