Job Description
Operator | $22-$27.00/hour
4 days on, 4 days off, rotating schedule, 1 month day shift, 1 month night shift
ARE YOU SEARCHING FOR A NEW AND REWARDING CAREER? A new growing soybean production company located in Storm Lake, IA is looking for Operators to join their team! The ideal candidate would need to be flexible as they would be required to work in different schedules as needed. Would you like to work with a new and expanding reputable company in the area? Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor process equipment in the facility through the computerized control systems and make process adjustments as required.
- Operate and monitor systems through sample collections and lab tests to determine changes that should be made to maintain quality of the products.
- Maintain records of required documentation for test results of in process product.
- Maintain good housekeeping of all equipment including preventative maintenance.
- Utilize technical expertise to trouble shoot and eliminate process related issues.
- Addressing, monitoring, and reporting of environmental parameters and issues.
- Provide training to less experienced department employees.
- Perform duties in a safe manner utilizing all approved safety equipment, and successfully complete all training certifications.
- Communicate with peers and management to ensure improvements throughout the facility.
- May perform reasonably similar or related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Communicate/read effectively in English
- AA degree preferred
- 2 or more years of related experience in the industry
- Strong safety knowledge and value for safety practices
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and spreadsheets.
