Job Description

Mad River Eye Care is a doctor-owned, independent optometry practice serving the Mad River Valley for over seven years. We're proud to offer a warm, welcoming environment where patient care always comes first, and where our small, collaborative team works closely together to make each day rewarding-for our patients and each other.

We're currently looking for a full-time Optometric Assistant to join our team in beautiful Waitsfield, Vermont. This is an in-office role where you'll be actively involved in all aspects of patient care-from pre-testing and assisting with contact lens instruction, to helping patients choose eyewear and navigating the latest in optometry technology. You don't need previous experience in optometry-just a high school diploma, strong customer service skills, and a positive, dependable attitude. We'll provide the rest with paid training and hands-on support.

Starting wage of $18–$20/hour
Monday- Thursday schedule, 7:45am- 5:00pm (hello, 3-day weekends!)
