Are you a clinically passionate Optometrist open to either full or part time working who is keen to join a fully independent and highly regarded practice in stunning Auburn, Maine, and achieve a potential annual income in excess of $200,000?SummaryThis superb, well-established employer of choice boasts an extensive, loyal patient following. With a strong medical focus, the successful applicant will be guaranteed a highly engaging schedule of appointments from the very outset. In addition to offering thorough primary eye care services and contact lens work, you will also have access to full scope optometry including the co-management of pre- and post-operative patients, full glaucoma treatment privileges, management of AMD and diabetics, and overall great scope to further enhance the practice's specialist medical service offerings.To assist you in your work, there is an abundance of highly trained support colleagues, including experienced opticians and technicians, who will work tirelessly to perform a full battery of pre-screening procedures, enabling the safe and efficient running of the clinics and giving you more time to focus on your patients' most critical clinical needs.The practice operates an exceptionally welcoming culture where fellow colleagues are truly cared for and seen as family'. You will be supported day-to-day by the clinical expertise of at least two other highly regarded Optometrists with decades of experience and tenure within the practice.Furthermore, the practice guarantees access to state-of-the-art testing facilities via a recently refurbished, modern practice setting, well-maintained standard diagnostic equipment, and more advanced state of art systems, including widefield imaging systems, corneal topographers, and OCT, to name but a few.This is a truly exceptional and rare prospect to become a valued and longstanding Optometrist within a passionate team of optical professionals.With market-leading pay and incentives available, alongside potential long-term partnership prospects, our best advice is to apply today to avoid disappointment!The RoleA single practice-based role with options to work anywhere from three to five days per week, so you can manage your work-life balance as you see fit!Working hours are from around 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break. If these hours don't quite match what you can offer, please still apply, as our client may be able to accommodate other working patterns to better suit your schedule!A full schedule of patients can be provided from the very outset. However, the diary will first be made more relaxed to allow you to settle into your new role. Once you're comfortable in your new surroundings, you will be provided with 30-minute appointment slots for full refraction appointments and have the opportunity to see anything from 18-22 patients per day, flexibly, to suit your working preferences and the practice's requirements.Predominantly focusing on primary eye care, with additional opportunities to offer full-scope optometry through pre- and post-surgical co-management, treatment/management of eye diseases, low vision and the option to provide specialist contact lens services if of interest to the successful applicant.Package and Benefits
- $160,000-$200,000 full time equivalent base salary, fully negotiable depending on experience
