Oracle PPM And EPM Profitability And Cost Management Application Solution Engineer

Position Title: Oracle PPM and EPM Profitability and Cost Management Application Solution Engineer Location: Remote to Bethesda, MD with travel involved. Duration: Long Term About the Role: Oracle Projects Portfolio Management and EPM Profitability and Cost Management Application Solution Engineer serves as a Functional / Technical expert and key liaison between finance stakeholders and the technical team. This outlines a role that combines strong Oracle PPM and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) functional and technical skills with a deep understanding of Enterprise Data Management Cloud Services (EDMCS) and PCMCS. Additional knowledge of EPBCS and Financial Close and Consolidation cloud services (FCCS) and finance and accounting business processes is a Plus. This individual is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of Oracle PPM & PCMCS solutions to meet a company's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting needs. The associate will collaborate with business stakeholders, system integrators and technical teams to translate business requirements into effective solutions and provide expert advice and support throughout the project lifecycle and beyond. CORE WORK ACTIVITIES:

• Serve as Functional lead / Technical lead for PPM & EPM and demonstrated understanding of some core modules of Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud like General Ledger, Projects etc.
• Lead functional design, assist in technical design and development, configuration, deployment and support of Oracle PPM and EPM solutions (PBCS/EDCMS/FCCS etc.).
• Design and build financial models, including forms, dashboards, business rules, and workflows.
• Configure metadata, calculations, and reporting structures.
• Manage data integration from source systems using tools like Data Management and EPM Automate.
• Coordinate data extraction and transformation processes from multiple systems, Data warehouses, Spreadsheets etc. to Oracle EPM.
• Design and implement transformation scripts/processes for cleansing, formatting, and enriching data.
• Perform system testing, performance tuning, and troubleshoot issues.
• Manage and monitor prod and non-prod environments, ensuring compliance with security and performance standards.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, enterprise architecture and broader corporate systems teams on SSO, architecture and security reviews and infrastructure management.
• Support CI/CD pipelines (where applicable) and test automation for PPM & EPM related changes and deployments.
• Serve as functional liaison across teams including MI, service providers and vendors.
• Provide technical guidance for cutover planning, go-live readiness, and post go-live support.
• Document system configurations, processes and support procedures for ongoing operations.
• Create and maintain documentation on mapping, processes, data quality issues and resolution steps.

CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience: Required:

• Master s degree or Bachelor s degree in IT or Finance or equivalent experience/certification.
• 5 to 7+ years of progressive professional experience in the Oracle EPM Implementation and support focused on Design, modeling, implementation, testing and maintenance Oracle PPM & EPM certifications are highly desired.

Preferred:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing Oracle Projects & Portfolio Management module and Profitability and Cost Management cloud service module in EPM.
• Additional knowledge and implementations of EPBCS, EDMCS, FCCS, ARCS, TRCS is a plus.
• 3+ years of knowledge and experience managing Oracle EBS modules like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting and other modules.
• At least 2-3 full-cycle Oracle implementation of migration projects focused on the building integrations to Oracle EPM.
