Oral Surgery Dental Assistant – Full Time

Lipson Dental Group is expanding, and we’re looking for a skilled Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to join our team. Our practice is known for exceptional patient care, strong clinical standards, and a supportive, team-focused environment. About the Role
Our Oral Surgery Dental Assistant will support the doctor during surgical procedures, ensure patient comfort, maintain a sterile and organized environment, and contribute to the smooth daily flow of the practice. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and confident in their clinical skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist the doctor during oral surgery procedures (extractions, implants, grafting, etc.)
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms
- Take high-quality X-rays and CBCT scans (if applicable)
- Provide pre-op and post-op instructions to patients
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Support sterilization and infection control protocols
- Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care at every visit
Qualifications
- Previous oral surgery assisting experience preferred
- Dental assisting experience required
- X-ray certification
- Strong understanding of surgical instruments and sterile technique
- Reliable, professional, and able to multitask in a clinical setting
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
