Job Description
The Order Management Associate is a member of the Order Management Team and is primarilyresponsible for answering incoming phone calls and distributing them to the appropriate department.PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
Answer incoming calls; greet callers, provide information, transfer calls, or take messages as necessaryGreet visitors entering Instrumart, determine the nature and purpose of their visit, and notify the appropriate Instrumart contactReview and distribute all incoming Sales emailsProvide order tracking and shipment status updates
ESSENTIAL KSA's (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):
- Ability and comfort working with computer applications - ample experience working in NetSuite• Capacity to work with Instrumart's telecommunications system, Dialpad• Excellent attention to detail• Fast and accurate typing skills• Capability to work in a fast-paced environment• Ability to communicate in a clear and helpful manner when corresponding with customers• Skilled time manager with a strong drive toward productivity• Active listener - giving full attention to what callers are saying, taking the time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times• High levels of dependability• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to ensure smooth and clear interactions across all departments at Instrumart
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Familiarity with NetSuite or similar business management software• Experience using a cloud-based telephone system• Experience sharing a workload while working as part of a team• Experience working in an open office environment
