As an Orientation Associate, you’ll play an essential role in helping new employees successfully begin their journey with Flatrock. You’ll be the friendly face that welcomes new hires, introduces them to our culture and values, and equips them with the knowledge and tools they need to thrive.

This is more than just orientation—it’s about creating a great first experience that sets the stage for employee engagement, retention, and job satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

  • Recruit, interview, and hire qualified Direct Care Worker (DCW) candidates
  • Create and maintain new hire folders with accurate and organized documentation
  • Build new hire rosters that include training dates and important background information
  • Complete required background checks, including ICHAT, OIG, and SAM screenings
  • Become a Certified CPR Instructor to teach CPR classes and help employees build essential safety skills
  • Serve as a key resource throughout the onboarding process and help new employees feel connected to the Flatrock Family

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Comfortable and enthusiastic about speaking in front of large groups
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Passion for helping others learn, grow, and succeed
  • Previous experience in Human Resources, employee orientation, recruiting, or onboarding is preferred
