Orthodontic Dental Assistant - Full time

Locations: Federal Way & Bellevue, WAPay: $25–$32 per hour (based on experience)

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our growing team! No prior orthodontic experience? No problem - we are willing to train the right candidate who is dependable, motivated, and eager to learn.

In this role, you will assist the orthodontist during exams and procedures, help ensure patients feel comfortable and informed, and support daily clinical operations in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate brings strong clinical skills, professionalism, and a patient-first mindset. Occasional travel between our Federal Way, Bellevue, and Issaquah offices is required.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the orthodontist during exams and procedures
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
Maintain accurate patient records
Ensure patient comfort and deliver excellent chairside care
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment
Communicate clearly with patients and team members

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Dental Assistant certification preferred (not required)
Previous dental or orthodontic experience is a plus
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
Dependable, punctual, and eager to learn
Working with urgency
Willingness and ability to travel to the Bellevue office when required
