Ortho/Dental Assistant

Dental Associates of North AL Decatur & Children's is seeking a full-time Ortho/Dental Assistant to join our growing team! This is a great opportunity for an experienced dental assistant looking to expand their skills in both general dentistry and orthodontics.

Position Details

Position: Ortho/Dental Assistant
Status: Full-Time
Location: Dental Associates of North AL Decatur & Children's

Schedule

Monday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Tuesday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Thursday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

What We're Looking For

At least 1 year of dental assisting experience
Orthodontic experience is preferred but not required
Willingness to learn and grow in an orthodontic setting
Positive attitude and strong communication skills
Team-oriented and dependable

Responsibilities

Assist the doctor during dental and orthodontic procedures
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms
Sterilize instruments and follow infection control protocols
Take dental records, X-rays, and impressions as needed
Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
Provide exceptional patient care and support
