Orthodontic Assistant (Full-Time) – Braces of McKinneyAddress: 4271 Highlands Dr, McKinney, TX 75071.Department: Orthodontics.Employment Type: Full-Time.Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM (32 hours/week).
Position Overview:
Braces of McKinney is seeking a motivated, reliable Orthodontic Assistant to join our orthodontic team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality patient care, supporting orthodontic procedures, and creating a positive patient experience in a fast-paced clinical environment.
The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with both children and families in a busy orthodontic practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the orthodontist during clinical procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and patients for procedures.
- Take and process dental X-rays.
- Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment.
- Manage patient flow and ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and oral hygiene.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Provide excellent patient care and customer service.
- Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification.
- X-Ray certification.
- Experience in orthodontics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor and reliability.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
