Job Details Job Details: Our company is seeking a dynamic, innovative and experienced OSP Engineering Manager to lead our Outside Plant (OSP) Engineering team. This position requires a unique individual with a background in Quality Assurance, FTTH, FTTB, Telecommunications, and OSP Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. Responsibilities: As an OSP Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for: 1. Overseeing all aspects of OSP engineering, including design, construction, and maintenance of our outside plant network. 2. Ensuring quality assurance and control in all OSP engineering projects. 3. Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team of OSP engineers. 4. Managing the deployment of FTTH and FTTB networks. 5. Collaborating with other departments to integrate OSP engineering activities. 6. Developing and implementing strategic plans to improve OSP engineering efficiency and effectiveness. 7. Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local telecommunications regulations. 8. Managing project budgets and timelines, and ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget. 9. Providing technical expertise and guidance in the resolution of complex OSP engineering issues. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the OSP Engineering Manager position will have the following qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in OSP engineering, with a focus on FTTH and FTTB networks. 3. Proven experience in managing a team of engineers, and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. 4. Strong knowledge of quality assurance and control principles and practices. 5. Excellent understanding of telecommunications regulations and standards. 6. Strong technical skills, with the ability to solve complex OSP engineering problems. 7. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. 8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. 9. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 10. Proficiency in the use of computer software applications, including CAD and GIS.
