OSP Project Manager

We are seeking a OSP Project Manager to join our team reporting onsite to the Hurricane, WV office. Job Description: ·         Receive and analyze new handoffs from telecommunications clients ·         Work with client engineering managers to negotiate acceptable timelines for both parties. ·         Establish due dates for internal milestones to meet client timelines ·         Assign projects to internal staff and subcontractor pool. Analyze current workload, deadlines, and geographical details to strategically assign these projects. ·         Drive internal processes (Engineering, Drafting, QC, Revisions, etc.) to ensure projects are progressing and turned into client in a timely fashion. Track progress in Summit project management tool. ·         Serve as point of contact for staff and client pool for joint-use post-inspection, BAU, Department of Highway, and FTTH related projects. Manage due dates, engineering team workload, information requests, escalations, etc.  ·         Evaluate and approve timesheets for internal staff ·         Work with Mountain Ltd. drafting team manager to establish expectations, assignment, forecasting, and escalations for active jobs. ·         Work closely with engineering team to ensure deadlines will be met. Address roadblocks and delays to manage due dates appropriately. ·         Drive team for on time service delivery. Work directly with Mountain Ltd. EA to ensure final packages are created and meet client guidelines. ·         Work with Mountain Ltd. management on resource management matters ·         Provide periodic reporting to Mountain Ltd. management on progress. ·         Provide periodic reporting to Frontier management on progress ·         Take part in any required client conference calls  ·         Continue to develop training and mentor program for new hires.  Since 1979, Mountain Ltd. has successfully created and supported turnkey engineering solutions for traditional and wireless telecom providers across the United States.
