Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops, implements, and monitor engineering processes to ensure efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality Assurance and Production, to identify areas of improvement and implement effective solutions.
Works on process optimization strategies and initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Provides support to engineering teams, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
Maintains documentation of engineering processes and workflows, ensuring accessibility and accuracy.
Conducts regular audits of processes to identify bottlenecks and propose improvements.
Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of engineering processes and present findings to senior management.
Stays updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Analyzes production data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
Designs, tests, and oversees the implementation of new production processes and equipment.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Associate's degree in Engineering or related field, and 3+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing, preferably in the Commercial HVAC industry.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proven experience in process management.
Excels with LabVIEW software development processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
Proficiency in process mapping and optimization tools.
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in engineering.
Works effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure, team environment.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
Work Environment:
Sit or stand for long periods.
Primarily works in an office environment.
Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
Will travel to multiple work locations as needed and less than 30% of the time.
