Summary of Role:

Performs courtesy telephone calls to members to explore financial options. Works from targeted lists generated from sales and service databases to focus on how to save or earn the member more money based on the member's current relationship with Broadview FCU. Maximizes cross-selling opportunities with all members.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

• Promote Broadview FCU products and services in accordance with Performance Excellence Sales and Service Standards

• Provide quality Investment & Insurance referrals

• Work to achieve personal and department sales goals

• Act as liaison between members and all departments of the credit union; focuses on existing members who have a deposit or loan product relationship

• Inform targeted members about their product's status; including but not limited to deposit product maturing, maturing share deposits, maturing market index certificates, home equity lines of credit coming to an end, and real estate and consumer loans that will be paid off

• Conduct pre-call planning for each outbound call by analyzing the Broadview account and product/service mix to appropriately meet their financial needs

• Initiate opportunities to cross-sell products and services.

• Maintain knowledge of credit union products and services and be able to explain their features, terms, conditions, and benefits

• Respond to problems, requests and inquiries that arise

• Participate in all applicable product, sales and operational training sessions offered by the credit union

• Other duties as needed

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

• Broadview approved retail consumer lender preferred

• At least 3 years customer service and/or hospitality experience and sales experience

• Home Equity, Mortgage and Commercial lending experience preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, including the ability to create and manipulate Excel documents

Starting Compensation: This role features a competitive base salary (starting range: $22.62 - $27.15/hr.) plus a performance-based incentive plan that rewards sales success - with incentive earnings that can substantially exceed base pay, and the opportunity for top-performing producers to more than double their total compensation. We also offer a competitive benefit package.
