Outdoor Comfort Solutions is looking for an Outdoor Construction Lead Carpenter to help lead the field execution of custom exterior living projects. This role is ideal for an experienced carpenter who is comfortable taking ownership on site, producing high-quality work, and helping a crew stay organized, efficient, and on schedule.

Our team builds custom outdoor spaces designed to improve the way homeowners use and enjoy their property. Projects may include pergolas, patio covers, motorized screens, awnings, decks, and other exterior structures. We need someone who can combine strong hands-on carpentry ability with practical leadership in the field.

What You'll Be Doing

• Oversee and participate in the installation of custom outdoor structures and living space features
• Lead daily jobsite activity and help keep the crew focused, productive, and working safely
• Interpret plans, layouts, and construction details to ensure work is completed accurately
• Perform measurements, material cuts, assembly, and installation with a high degree of craftsmanship
• Monitor job quality throughout the build and correct issues before they become bigger problems
• Work closely with project management to communicate site conditions, progress, and scheduling needs
• Support and guide crew members in the field, including less experienced installers
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and professional jobsite
• Use JobTread for updates and documentation when needed

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of carpentry or construction experience
• Experience leading a small crew or acting as the go-to person on active jobsites
• Strong working knowledge of framing, finish carpentry, and general construction practices
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and scope details
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Willingness to complete a background check and drug screening after an offer is made
• Experience with JobTread is a plus, but not required
• Strong attention to detail, good judgment, and the ability to solve problems on site
• Reliable, professional, and able to set the tone for quality work in the field
