We are experiencing exciting growth, both organically and through strategic acquisitions, and are looking for a motivated Lighting Installer Tech to join our Installation team at our Venice, FL office.

Your Opportunity:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Landscape Lighting Installer Technician to join our residential services team. This role focuses on the installation and maintenance of high-quality, low-voltage outdoor lighting systems. Additionally, this position provides vital cross-functional support by serving as an Irrigation Helper during peak periods or as project needs shift.

Key Responsibilities

Lighting Installation & Maintenance:

• Install low-voltage outdoor lighting systems, including fixtures, transformers, and wiring, specifically for residential properties.
• Dig small trenches for wire burial and ensure all wiring is safely and discretely tucked away.
• Mount transformers and connect them to power sources; program timers and smart-lighting controllers.
• Troubleshoot existing systems to identify and repair wire breaks, faulty bulbs, or fixture issues.

Irrigation Support:

• Assist the Irrigation Team with the installation and repair of residential watering systems.
• Help with trenching, pipe fitting, and the replacement of sprinkler heads and valves.
• Support Irrigation Managers in testing zones and ensuring proper coverage for landscape health.

Driving & Logistics:

• Operate company vehicles safely to and from various residential job sites.
• Maintain an organized inventory of lighting and irrigation components on the truck.
• Ensure all equipment and tools are cleaned and maintained daily.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in low-voltage lighting installation or a related field (landscaping/construction).
• Licensing: Must possess a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical concepts (volts, watts, polarity).
• Physical Ability: Must be able to work outdoors in Florida weather conditions, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks such as digging, kneeling, and walking.
• Flexibility: Willingness to assist the irrigation department and work occasional evenings to adjust lighting aim and timers.
• Communication: Ability to interact professionally with residential clients and team members. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.
