Outdoor Living Construction Sales Associate
Location: Fort Worth, TX (In-Office / Field-Based)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Build High-End Outdoor Spaces & Close Premium Projects
If you understand construction, can communicate value clearly, and know how to close, this is a strong opportunity with real upside. We are looking for a customer-facing construction sales professional who understands design, knows how projects are built, and can confidently guide homeowners from consultation to signed project.
The Collective Outdoors designs and builds high-end outdoor living spaces across Fort Worth and the DFW area -- including patios, outdoor kitchens, shade structures, and full backyard remodels. We also operate a 10,000 sq. ft. showroom featuring premium outdoor products. Our team focuses on quality craftsmanship, strong client relationships, and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet homeowners onsite to discuss project vision, needs, and budget
- Evaluate project sites and provide professional recommendations
- Build clear scopes of work and detailed proposals
- Present projects confidently and close new business
- Hand off sold projects to production teams with accurate documentation
- Track sales activities, communications, and opportunities in CRM
- Respond to clients within the same business day
- Generate referrals and new opportunities in addition to inbound leads
Requirements
- 5+ years of construction, remodeling, or design-build sales experience
- Experience with outdoor living or high-ticket residential projects preferred
- Working knowledge of concrete, framing, electrical, plumbing, and drainage systems
- Strong understanding of pricing, margins, and project scope development
- Confident in presenting proposals in homeowners' homes
- Organized, deadline-driven, and self-managed
- Comfortable using CRM tools and sales technology
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Structure Studios, Pool Studios, SketchUp, or similar design software
- Landscape design or construction operations experience
Pay and Benefits
- Full-time W-2 employment
- Base Salary: $50,000 - $60,000
- Performance Bonus: $20,000 - $50,000+ (based on revenue and gross profit)
- Inbound leads provided
