Schedule Details/Additional Information:

Full Time Position- Possible remote after 90 days- Hours 8:00-4:30

Job Description:

1.Codes and abstracts outpatient accounts daily using computer generated work ques of discharged patient encounters.2.Competent in coding of Outpatient Records for both ICD-10 CM and CPT codes for both hospital and professional.3.Populates correct discharge dispositions as well as applicable occurrence codes.4.Reviews the record for medical necessity.5.Assists other departments / offices as a coding resource.6.Follows up on accounts needing additional documentation for coding.7.Utilizes all specialized coding resources available for accuracy in coding.
