Outpatient Pharmacist

Job Location:

Reno/Sparks, NV Floating between 3 Healthcare facilities

Duration:

Start Date: November 30, 2026, Contract Length: 26 weeks, Contract Type: Temp-to-Perm preferred

Shift Schedule:

8-hour variable shifts

Weekdays: 8:00 AM 7:00 PM

Weekends: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM

Del Monte and Ion: Open Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 7:00 PM; Saturday Sunday, 9:00 AM 5:30 PM

Weekend operations include a 30-minute lunch closure

Fifth Street: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 7:00 PM; closed weekends

Summary:

Join our team as an Outpatient Pharmacist in the vibrant city of Reno, NV, known for its stunning natural landscapes and proximity to Lake Tahoe. This position offers the opportunity to work across multiple healthcare facilities, providing essential pharmacy services to the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide pharmaceutical care to patients in outpatient settings.
  • Float between Healthcare Ion Medical Offices, Healthcare Fifth Street Medical Offices, and Healthcare Del Monte Medical Offices based on operational needs.
  • Ensure accurate dispensing of medications and provide patient counseling.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and patient interaction.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 6 months of retail or outpatient pharmacy experience as a pharmacist.
  • Strong patient-facing and pharmacy operations experience.
  • Ability to work across multiple outpatient pharmacy locations.
  • Must hold a Nevada Pharmacist License.

Holiday/RTO Information:

  • December 25 and January 1 are facility holidays and the locations will be closed.
  • No additional days off will be granted around these holidays.
