Job Description
Experienced Outside Sales Representative needed for crane rental company located in Goose Creek, SC.; which is under new management.Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed individual daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
- Obtain new and maintain existing accounts by providing world class customer service.
- Close new accounts by face-to-face interaction as well as answering telephones, email inquiries, entering information, and providing customer proposals.
- Open sales to non-traditional markets.
- Develop and actively sell value-added solutions for complex and technical applications.
- Understand relevant mechanical and structural application information to advise clients.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and customers.
- Provide accurate job estimating.
- Being a people person and good communicator.
- Background in cranes and other heavy equipment to reach out to various companies.
- Actively manage industry / trade organizations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalents: College degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years within the crane industry.
- Proven track record of successful sales.
- Contact/experience selling in the Southeast part (SC, NC, GA, & FL).
- Previous experience with lift plans.
- Multi-tasking abilities.
- Efficient with time management.
- Self-starter / motivated.
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs. frequently.
- Proficient with MS Office, Word, Excel, and crane management software.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary plus commission to be determined based on experience.
- Insurances (health/dental/vision/life) available after sixty (60) days.
- 401K option and paid vacation offered after one (1) year.
- Truck allowance program with fuel card, or fuel reimbursement
- Company provided cell phone and computer.
