Description

Bring your residential construction expertise to a local, long-standing building materials team in Manhattan, Kansas where your estimating skills directly shape new home projects. In this Outside/Inside Salesperson & Estimator opportunity, you’ll review plans, build accurate material takeoffs, and work with homebuilders and contractors as you help grow new construction business.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Outside/Inside Salesperson & Estimator position include:

Strong background in residential construction and building-materials estimating (building experience is required).
Ability to independently read and interpret residential construction blueprints.
Experience performing material takeoffs and preparing detailed construction estimates.
Understanding of lumber, framing materials, windows, doors, and other residential building components.
Comfort working with Togal.AI takeoff software and completing accurate material takeoffs.
Prepare complete building-material packages for new home construction (excluding roofing shingles).
Handle inside sales and outside sales responsibilities, including customer visits and relationship development.
Develop new residential construction business opportunities with builders and contractors.

Salary: $65,000 per year starting compensation, depending on experience and qualifications.

Benefits: 401(k) with a guaranteed employer contribution equal to 3% of W-2 compensation, regardless of company profitability; additional profit-sharing opportunities based on company performance; potential healthcare stipend depending on the individual candidate and negotiated compensation.
