SummaryShepherd Controls is looking for a driven sales professional to join our team in Houston. Shepherd Controls & Associates is a distributor of industrial automation products and solutions. We help manufacturers and other industrial customers solve real-world challenges through automation, making their operations smarter, faster, and more productive.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

Develop and maintain a basic understanding of the product lines we represent, as well as the industrial automation industry as a whole.Build relationships with new and existing customers to grow your territory.Prospect and develop new accounts through targeted outreach, leads, and networking.Provide customers with live product demonstrations.Collaborate with our internal solutions group and supplier partners to develop solutions using Shepherd's broad automation portfolio.Present solutions that connect technical capabilities to real business outcomes.Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline in Salesforce.

Experience We'd Like to SeeAny combination of the following is valuable:

Industrial automation, controls, robotics, or related technical experience.Technical B2B or outside sales experience.Engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, or applications experience.Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field-or equivalent experience.
