Iron Mountain is seeking a motivatedOutsourced Legal Records Coordinatorto join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of legal records, ensuring the accuracy, security, and accessibility of critical client data at our customer’s location in Washington DC.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Manage the comprehensive file lifecycle—including digital creation, high-volume scanning, and daily inventory tracking—to ensure all legal records are accurate and immediately accessible for firm staff.

  • Collaborate with legal stakeholders to coordinate seamless file transfers, off-site archiving, and secure shredding processes.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards and legal industry regulations by performing regular inventory audits and maintaining strict chain-of-custody protocols for all client records.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2+ yearsof experience in an active law firm records management environment, including specific expertise in records keeping.

  • Strong knowledgeof legal document scanning, digital file organization, and professional archiving standards.

  • Proven abilityto work independently with minimal supervision while thinking strategically to resolve complex logistics or storage challenges
