Iron Mountain is seeking a motivatedOutsourced Legal Records Coordinatorto join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of legal records, ensuring the accuracy, security, and accessibility of critical client data at our customer’s location in Washington DC.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
Manage the comprehensive file lifecycle—including digital creation, high-volume scanning, and daily inventory tracking—to ensure all legal records are accurate and immediately accessible for firm staff.
Collaborate with legal stakeholders to coordinate seamless file transfers, off-site archiving, and secure shredding processes.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards and legal industry regulations by performing regular inventory audits and maintaining strict chain-of-custody protocols for all client records.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
2+ yearsof experience in an active law firm records management environment, including specific expertise in records keeping.
Strong knowledgeof legal document scanning, digital file organization, and professional archiving standards.
Proven abilityto work independently with minimal supervision while thinking strategically to resolve complex logistics or storage challenges
